Dessert Recipe - Gluten Free Cake @plantbased.arabic


This cake has a very rich satisfying taste and can be an easy fix to your sweet craving.

  • 2 cups of your choice of Gluten Free flour (preferably chickpea and rice flour)

  • 1 cup of almond milk

  • 1/3 of cup coconut oil (organic)

  • 1/3 of cup maple syrup or cane sugar

  • ¼ of cup cocoa powder

  • 1 Tbsp carob powder

  • 1 Tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 Tsp baking powder

  • Pinch of salt


  1. Start by mixing the dry ingredients in a large bowl, then add the wet ones.

  2. Oil a cake pan with coconut oil then pour the cake mix.

  3. Bake in preheated oven to 350°F for 45 minutes then remove the cake and allow to cool down.

    P.S: make sure before removing the cake off of the oven to insert a wooden tooth pick in, if it came out clean it means the cake is ready.  

Glaze ingredients

  • 1 cup of cashew milk or any plant-based milk

  • 2 Tbsp corn starch

  • 1/3 of a cup vegan chocolate chips

  • ½ Tsp of Vanilla extract

Mix the ingredient well, then heat it on a water bath until the mix thickened.

Pour it on a cake at room temperature then cool it before serving it.
