Oatmeal with Fruits
Oatmeal is a delicious, heart-healthy and filling breakfast containing a powerful soluble fiber Called Beta-Glucan which can help to lower cholesterol levels.
With hundreds of options for different flavours and toppings, it’s a staple in a healthy plant-based diet - just watch your portion sizes. A single portion of oats should be ~60grams.
Oats - 60grams
Water or sugar-free nut milk - 1 cup
Grapes - 1/2 handful
Seeds of your choice (pumpkin, chia) - 2 tbsp
Heat oats with water or nut-milk on stove or in microwave
Add toppings as desired
Feel free to add cinnamon or a drizzle of plant-based sweetener such as agave
